Becki and I flew out on Friday morning and were in OR by 10 am their time. She dropped me off with my great friend Haley while she and Becky did some prep for the shower. Haley and I hit a few stores, TCBY (ice cream/shakes are a favorite of mine these days) and then went to her house to meet her sweet new puppy Dixon. I would have taken him home if I could, but Haley is kind of attached :) Later we went to the movie "He's just not that into you" and then out for a bite to eat.
The next day Becki dropped me off at the Sady's house where I got to spend time with their little guys, Nate and Ike. They are both too cute for words. It was great to catch up. It is amazing how fast the little guys grow. We will have to soak up each moment. Then we were off to the shower.
Sunday, Becki and I hit the coast. We shopped the outlet stores in Lincoln City and then went to lunch looking over the coast. We had intended to walk the beach, but the rain hit right when we finished our meals. So, back for more shopping and then headed inland.
Becki dropped me off at our neighbors house in Hillsboro and I had dinner with the Frawleys and the Youngs. We caught up and had a good time. I can't believe how grown up the girls are. They were just trick or treating at our house. Crazy how time flies.
It was a wonderful trip and it was such a blessing to get to see everyone for the short time I was there. Hopefully we will all be back soon for a visit.
