Update ~
We have thought for the longest time that we would see some top teeth any day now, but she is still holding strong with the two lower ones for now. She is eating more of a coarse puree and finger foods. I am making most of my own baby food and she has eaten everything to date. Most of what I make her I wouldn't touch myself, but she puts it down like it is the best thing ever. Of course, Al is her dad and he eats most anything as well.
She has been crawling since Thanksgiving and been picking up speed ever since. She is very busy pulling herself up and then getting down over and over again. Today she started to stand on her own for just a few seconds. Go Auna!
She loves to be chased around the house and to chase addie as well. She just giggles and giggles. That has to be the greatest sound in the world. She cruises in her walker at mock five and loves to run into the wall at full speed. When she comes to a stop she looks over at me and just starts to laugh. We think we may have an adrenaline junkie on our hands. She can maneuver that walker where ever she wants to go. It is amazing.
Our new schedule allows for some long awaited family time. I am still adjusting to not having to go to work each day, but I am sure it will be like old hat before I know it. Having the opportunity to watch this little personality blossom is priceless.
