Heartbeat
We heard the heartbeat for the second time Monday and it has to be one of the greatest sounds on earth. With more time and another good doctor's visit behind us, I am feeling more confident and excited about the pregnancy. It is really just beginning to sink in that this is really happening. We will be back in 4 weeks for an ultrasound and at that point we will be half way there. It seemed like such a long time to get to this point, but now I feel like the weeks are passing by rather quickly. We are so blessed to be where we are and can't wait to see what the future holds.

Al's thoughts
Well, if I was quite the entertainment then I guess Entertainment Tonight's Mary Hart will now be covering lego towers, hide&seek and board books!
The highlight of my Monday was hearing our little baby's speed demon heartbeat on the Doppler again. Awesome! The doc said it was large for the date. Being the runt of the family at 7lb 6oz (I think that's what my mom told me and yes that carried through to present day where even my sneaky tiptoes in the family pictures doesn't put me on par with my three 6'+++ brothers) I found that hard to believe. We'll see.
Duluth
We made a road trip over the weekend to see my great friend Jodi and her family. She just had her second little one, Van (4 weeks) and has a daughter Myla (2yrs). Both couldn't be any more cute. It was great to catch up with her and her husband Lance (he is from Winona too!). Al and Myla made fast friends and were quite the entertainment.
