More pictures can be found on my Facebook account but this should give you a flavor of what kind of surreal situation this has become here in Fargo. El Zagal golf course and shrine is north of our house 2 blocks where the Red River is currently being contained by a critical sandbag and clay dike. The Moorhead pictures are from March 27 where a friend and I were building a sandbag dike with 200 other volunteers when some firefighters observed a large leak in the primary dike 15 feet from where we were standing. A little chaos, quick removal of all volunteers and some good work by National Guard troops contained it according to the news.
